What is Calm Classroom?
Calm Classroom is a Tier 1 mindfulness-based SEL program for Pre-K through 12th-grade students. The program is composed of 3-minute research-based, scripted mindfulness techniques taught during classroom transitions, or in group meetings, private counseling settings--or as needed--to restore focus and promote emotional well-being in the classroom. Training Options
Calm Classroom provides effective, concise, and flexible multi-year training, and support options that accommodate the specific needs of our school partners. Our training programs are for independent schools and school districts seeking to implement: School-wide, district-wide or staff opt-in approaches. We offer both centralized, direct training to staff members and Train-the-Trainer workshops for individual school facilitators or district coaches. All training is conducted virtually with a combination of e-learning and live interactive Zoom workshops conveniently scheduled throughout the school year.
