Calm Classroom’s Virtual Train-the-Trainer program empowers staff members to teach other members of their school communities about mindfulness, stress management, and other techniques for classroom wellness. Participants learn to nurture the Calm Classroom program throughout the school year while also developing mindfulness and emotional balance within their community of educators.

We use self-directed e-learning and live workshops to teach participants critical skills and help them become leaders in supporting mental and emotional health in their school communities. Participants will explore topics like mindfulness, gratitude, empathy, and self-compassion along with research-backed strategies for greater well-being in and outside of the classroom.

Why Mindfulness in the Classroom??

Mindfulness helps students stay calm, manage stress, and focus on learning. In our test group, 81% of teachers who used Calm Classroom’s mindfulness-based tools and approach reported their students were calmer and more peaceful, and 74% said their students were more engaged. In addition, 71% of teachers said they used Calm Classroom’s mindfulness techniques outside of school to manage their own stress and emotions.
