Abra Prentice Foundation gives primarily to maintain and improve the quality and availability of health care; increase and promote knowledge through educational, scientific or literary endeavors in secondary, college, professional schools, etc.; provide for the special needs of children, the elderly, the disabled, and the impoverished; improve social conditions and cultural development in the U.S. and elsewhere; and promote international peace and understanding and achieve other charitable purposes which the foundation recognizes as especially worthy of its support.

Buchanan Family Foundation is a family foundation located in Lake Forest, Illinois. The foundation supported Calm Classroom upon its inception in the mid 2000's. Its continued support is so graciously appreciated.

Grant Healthcare Foundation

Grant Healthcare Foundation continues the long tradition of Grant Hospital of Chicago, founded in 1883 in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago as “a sanctuary in case of sickness or accident for all persons, without distinction of belief or religious conviction.”

Invest For Kids

Invest For Kids was co-founded by Ron Levin and Ben Kovler in 2009 after attending the Ira W Sohn Investment Research Conference in New York for many years and being inspired to bring this concept to Chicago. When Ron & Ben formed Invest For Kids, they had three goals in mind. First, assemble the most highly regarded investment managers to present their best ideas and current views. Second, bring the Chicago investment community together annually. And third, provide support for underprivileged children in Chicago with an emphasis on smaller organizations where the giving would be more impactful.
