Our Philosophy

Mindfulness is for everyone.

Since 2007, we’ve offered simple, sustainable and impactful mindfulness training to educators all over the world with the belief that anyone can practice and teach mindfulness.

Mindfulness is a cornerstone of mental health and lays the foundation for the development of core social-emotional competencies like self-awareness and self-management.

Students and educators deserve access to mental health resources, and that’s why we created the Calm Classroom program.

Our Approach

Mindfulness doesn’t need to be complicated.

Our 3-minute scripted breathing, stretching, focusing and relaxation techniques can be led by teachers and students, and are suitable for all learning styles and physical abilities.

In an increasingly digitized world, human connection is paramount. That’s why we make it simple for teachers to lead mindfulness techniques and reflection discussions live, without the need for an app. 

Because we believe in making mindfulness available to everyone, we’ve eliminated barriers to access by offering a variety of economical training models to accommodate individual, school and district budgets and schedules.
